Each Inner Wild piece is meant to age with you — weathered, storied, and alive.Care for it, and it’ll carry the sea’s spirit a lifetime.

Care & Cleaning

Can I wear my jewelry in the ocean or shower?

Saltwater, sweat, and soap can wear down metals and natural materials over time. If you take your piece into the waves, rinse it in fresh water and dry it gently afterward — let it live wild, but keep it cared for.

How should I store my jewelry?

Keep your pieces dry and separate when not in use — ideally in a soft pouch or jewelry box. This prevents scratches and tarnish and keeps chains from tangling.

How do I clean metal parts like chains or clasps?

Use a soft cloth to polish gold or silver gently. Avoid chemical cleaners or polishing dips — they’re too harsh for the natural materials we use. A polishing cloth is included in every order.

What about pearls, shark teeth, and sea glass?

These materials are naturally strong but still delicate. Wipe with a damp, soft cloth only — no soap or ultrasonic cleaners. Each surface tells a story; let it stay that way.

Can I repair or refresh an older piece?

Yes. If your jewelry’s seen some adventures, we can often bring it back to life. Reach out with a photo, and we’ll discuss repair or refresh options — sometimes a new chain, sometimes just a good polish and a sea story shared.
